The first part of the third June edition of "Folklore Table" TV show presents the theme of Midsummer's Day (Enyovden) and herbs. In the holiday calendar of the Bulgarian Enyovden is on June 24. The holiday coincides with the summer solstice, so many beliefs and customs are associated with the sun and the cult of it. In the minutes for finds in ethnography we reveal how the day is celebrated in the village of Asparuhovo, Varna municipality.
The last June issue focuses on the most used spices in confectionery - cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, coconut shavings. You will also see a homemade cake recipe. Then, in the minutes of the "Ethno finding" we will tell you about St. Peter's Day, which we celebrate on June 29.
