The first July issue of the "Folklore table" telecast is dedicated to the harvest. Viewers will watch specially selected folklore performances of various harvest songs and dances.
At this time of year, an intensive harvest is going on in the Bulgarian lands, so our team cannot stand indifferently. We also chose the harvest theme on the occasion of the national holiday Summer "Atanasovden" celebrated on July 5. In different regions of Bulgaria the day is also popular with the names Athanasius of Alexandria, Summer St. Athanasius, but it is often called Harvester.
The last name comes from the fact that in the mountainous regions, where the wheat ripens later - the harvest begins on St. Athanasius Day.
