For the 8th following year in the beautiful village Reselets, famous as the "capital of the water onion", honor will be given to this vegetable. The Reseltes water onion is a visiting card not only in Bulgaria but also in Brussels. The vegetable is tasted in the European capital during the initiative "Let's protect the Bulgarian taste" the organizers infromed.
With the famous vegetable, which isn't spicy and treats all sorts of illnesses, traditional soups are made- luchnik, fish soup, bread, filled paprika and lyutika.
According to the locals the reason that the onion is so tasty and its qualities are because of the magic of the water and the air in their village, which will become more famous with its new tourist destination "Tektonski greben Kaleto".
The celebration of the Reselets onion will take place on the 24.09.2016 at 18:00 in front of the building of community center "Todor Popov - 1927". The good mood and the good vibes will be taken care of, by an orchestra and guest from Shumen, Zverino, Koynare and Pleven.
