The President of Republic of Bulgaria - Mr. Rosen Plevneliev attended the final concert of IV Balkan Championship "Euro Folk - Jiva Voda" - Hisarya 2015.
He applauded the performances of singers with sweet voices of the folk group "Nadezhda Hvoineva" from the Asenovgrad, Folk Trio "Avliga" from Dupnitsa and the dances of the host dance group "Hisarski ritmi".
Mr. Plevneliev expressed extreme satisfaction from the perfect organization of such large folklore event and congratulated the President of European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF), Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov, under whose auspices the Championship is held, the mayor of the Hisarya town - Eng. Penka Ganeva, all the community centers' workers, all amateurs and supporters for preserving of Bulgarian art and its transmission not only for future generations but also of Europe.
He awarded the Winners of the Championship - Ensemble "Sedenchica" from Plovdiv with the Grand Prix Golden "Orpheus", the title Absolute Champion of Folklore and check for the amount of 1,000 Euro, provided by the organizers.
Folklore festival ended with a big Bulgarian horo (chain-dance) and along with the dancers from "Hisarski ritmi" - the Mayor, the President of EAFF and the President of the Republic were dancing too.
