Folklore Ensemble “Bulgarani” officially became Absolute National Champion of Folklore 2015
Grand Prix Golden “Orpheus”, check for 1 000 Leva, Golden medal and diploma for Absolute National Champion of Folklore 2015 was given solemnly to the winners of VI Bulgarian National Championship “Euro Folk 2015” – Ensemble for Folklore Dances “Bulgarani”.
The official ceremony was held in Syndication House of Culture of Transport Workers in Bulgaria – in Sofia. The chairman of Stara planina Fest “Balkan Folk” and president of European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF) Mr Kaloyan Nikolov awarded personally the high distinctions to the founder and art director of the ensemble – Mr. Vladimir Nedev.
He was awarded with a diploma “Maestro” for contribution in folklore art. He made the choreography for the dance which brought the Ensemble the awards and won the hearts of the audience of the festival.
Next year the dancers will celebrate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of "Bulgarani" with a big concert. Before that the Ensemble has a great challenge and they have already begun serious preparation - the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2015", for which they received a recommendation. The Ensemble received points for ranking in the World's rank-list.
Vladimir Nedev thanked for the recognition on behalf of the entire team, in front of the camera and the team of television "Euro Folk" he said that it is difficult to achieve this award, but they was aspired to it and worked hard for it. And now they accept it with great responsibility to defend it. And he said to all who aspire to such award, it becomes possible when you love folklore and doing it with much love and desire.
The president of EAFF – Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov and this year's Absolute National Champion of Folklore - Ensemble "Bulgarani" received a congratulatory letter from the Ministry of Culture. In which was expressed a respect and gratitude to the mission for the preservation and continuity of Bulgarian folklore heritage through Stara Planina Fest "Balkan Folk".
The Ensemble greeted the audience with a performance of Varna dance, and finally, in honor of the sweet victory and the awards, thundered a champagne with wishes for health, success and much more folklore prizes.
