In the beginning of August, the "Folklore table" TV show emphasizes on the Celebration on the Transfiguration of Jesus
The first issue of the "Folklore table" TV show in August will highlight the Transfiguration of Jesus, celebrated on August 6. It has been celebrated since the first centuries of Christianity and recalls one of the important events of the Savior's earthly journey, namely His appearance in heavenly glory before His disciples Peter, John, and James.
It becomes clear from the TV show how our nation interprets the Transfiguration and how the holiday is celebrated in the Transfiguration Monastery, which is located near Veliko Tarnovo.
