On June 29 (Monday) at 6:00 PM (EET), the official premiere of the documentary film dedicated to the 29th Balkan Folk Festival 2026, the 11th World Folklore Cup, and the 16th Bulgarian National Folklore Championship “Euro Folk 2026” will take place.
The film will be broadcast simultaneously on EurofolkTV and on the television’s official YouTube channel, giving audiences the opportunity to once again immerse themselves in the atmosphere of one of Bulgaria’s most significant folklore events.
The documentary follows the most memorable moments from the festival days in Veliko Tarnovo, where more than 100 folklore ensembles and individual performers from Bulgaria and Malaysia showcased the richness of traditional folk art. It features spectacular concert performances, meetings with participants, footage from accompanying events, and unforgettable moments from the parade, the awards ceremony, and the official closing event.
The production presents a documentary story about the power of folklore to unite generations, countries, and cultures while preserving the living intangible cultural heritage.
